Edit & Save CATS Documents in Google Drive

Until now, the ability to easily edit CATS attachments has required the use of the Word plugin.

Today we released a seamless integration with Google Drive(formerly Google Docs), allowing you to edit a document with one click and save it back to CATS just as easily. All you need is a Google account.

This continues our effort to integrate CATS with powerful cloud-based applications, including:

How It Works

Simply click the “Google Drive” link next to an attachment. The first time you use the feature, you will be required to authorize CATS to access your Google account. This grants CATS the ability to upload documents to your Drive.

The document will open in a new window or tab. When you have completed editing the document, click the “Save back to CATS” button. That’s it!

Supported Formats

This feature is supported for Word (doc, docx), OpenOffice (odt), RichText (rtf), HTML and plain text documents.
